What’s the best way to maximize the results you get from your workout? Well, I’m glad you asked. Sleep and nutrition are the most important factors to recovering after you workout. For now let’s focus on food. So what and how much should you eat? Another great question. Fortunately, it doesn’t have to be complicated.

“Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat.” – Greg Glassman

That’s it. That’s where we start. No amount of supplements are going to make a difference without first focusing on solid nutrition. Nutrition is the foundation of every fitness marker and it is the fastest way to accomplish your fitness goals. Improved workout performance, body image, better sleep, more energy, lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol, etc. All will improve with clean eating in the right proportions.

We carry nutritional supplements, recovery drinks and proteins that we believe in and yes they certainly have a place in your nutrition and recovery. However, we must start with real food. We will be posting information about the supplements we carry with the why and how they work so stay tuned!
